You'd see my blue woodstove, its belly full of bright orange flame. it's another dark and dreary day outside, rainy, a typical winter (almost) day in the Pacific Northwest. I'm feel thankful for the warmth, the pine and alder keeping me company as it burns, reminding me that i carry the flame inside me too.
looking for and hopefully finding a little peace, even on the days when i feel agitation and sadness
my tools, my constant companions, best friends
there are reminders everywhere when I open my eyes
collections, piles, all sorted and neat. i've managed to keep my studio pretty tidy for the most part
the view from my painting chair
time to change the paint water and get back to work (play).
Hoping that each of you is finding some peace, warmth, music, and creativity this December Tuesday.

This December Tuesday ... I was just thinking about how many Tuesdays we have left in 2010. Not many! Time to make them all count! Love your studio. It is very neat and orderly and the bins along the wall on shelves look like what I should have. I need more shelves and more shallow bins what with all the knick knacks and odds and ends I can't throw away and want to incorporate. Be well, and thanks for the comment about the flame/fire inside you. It's in me, too!

so much warmth radiates from your studio and from you.
i wish i could be there, in your studio today.
it's bitter cold here, too... it feels good to be warm and inside.
much love to you dear one. xoxox

Besides loving your art nest (a feast for my eyes), your art is so full of energy. Surrounded by special things you create beautiful paintings!!!
Enjoyed my visit. I got here through Cindy's blog and post about an artfuljourney!
