Sharon at Norah'S

Oh my goodness, Katie, the movement in this is so wonderful. And the primary colors and it is so Van G.
But I would love to hear the story from you.

Very Van Gogh and very mysterious! Tell us more {:

thank you both for your comments. i haven't ignored you but was thinking of how i would answer. often i don't know what something means when i create it - it takes a few days to understand. i was thinking about my mother when i was working on this, missing her so much. the woman is praying, wanting a connection to her mother again, and to the Divine. Her mother is watching her (the figure in the gray). i brought the sun-in-the-sky down to her to symbolize her interaction with the Beloved, God.

when i saw this, katie, it gave me a big lump in my throat. it sings its story so clear and sweet. it is very moving, very powerful. i think that when we create work this true it can't help but be beautiful. thank you for sharing this lovely piece and your gifts today.
