i gasped when you said you had never been further east than michigan. being a southern girl i would fret if i had known you had never visited the south. i'm so happy to hear that your trip was lovely, that you saw your first fireflies, and that you got to meet lots of southern women. they are a breed apart...funny, sweet, and with the the biggest hearts. and everyone is allowed to be eccentric in the south. it is most nearly expected. i look forward to hearing all about it. xo

welcome back! Fireflies are the best, aren't they? Well, Lightening Bugs as we called them in Maryland. I miss those the most living here in WA. Magical.

I don't understand how there can be such wonderful shops and classes in Saluda and in Philadelphia........I shouldn't complain, we do have many wonderful art experiences......but it sure looks good!

Missed you, sweetest amongst sweets! :-)

Isn't life wonderful? Fireflies. Stars. New Friends. Sharing knowledge. Returning. Simply beautiful.

Love the heart shaped rock. I've been collecting them for as long as I can remember. There is something so special about them, like a love letter from the big Mama. A perfect solstice reminder.

Such a trip! Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing and I look forward to more.

Oh, what a satisfying post. New sights, experiences and friends. What a grand adventure. I feel like I was there too and had a brilliant time. Namaste.

What a great trip! I am glad you were able to open your heart to the spirit of the experience and met so many wonderful people along the way. One thing I desperately miss being on the west coast is the magic of fireflies. I am so happy you were able to see them.xoxoxo
