This is beautiful, Katie. I bet the texture and colors are amazing to see in person. Have a great time!

Ah...such a rich amber glow! I love the inscrutable expression on her face - she seems so inwardlay focused, but we don't know what she's thinking. The butterflies and the bare trees suggest transformation from a state of waiting to a state of revealed beauty, at least to me. Good luck with your classes - lucky folks who will be there with you:>

Wow, Katie...this is stunning! It has such a warm and glowing feeling to it...very inviting. I also love the texture, and the way that the same texture was carried out to the frame. Did you use the same process for both?

Good luck with the teaching! It looks like you have quite a heavy schedule for this year!

Ohhh Katie... the use of words inside the butterfly body is wonderful! The entire piece is fabulous and is sure to inspire your students!

Have a great time!

have a fun and safe trip katie. Sounds like an interesting class.

Thanks for yoour comment you left about my piece called yesterday. :) I wonder how your recipients are going to react to the bundles of letters? I would love to see old letters of mine. It would be like reading an old diary.

Take care and can't wait to hear about how your workshop goes.
