Katie,

Happy, happy, joy, joy----what a treat to see your class photos! I am just sick I missed you at Random Arts and hope that you will be back!

The photos of your class were very good I thought. You captured each person's sheer joy at being there and making all of those lovely portraits and dolls (!) Withdrawing from the Effexor sounds difficult and painful. I hope your passage through it is eased daily. You are brave and dear to share all of this.

I have heard nothing but sheer joy & glowing reviews from people who took your classes. No doubt your gentle, creative soul took wing and inspired so many. Hang in there with the "lows," for they will pass, and the stars will light up your eyes before long. I so, so enjoyed spending time with you at AU. What a sweet delight you are.

I'll be thinking of you...I know how difficult and unpleasant it can be, tapering off medication...

Hope you're feeling more yourself very soon Katie, I've fortunately never experienced what you're going through, but my mother does on a regular basis and it's so hard to watch her and not be able to help.
Take care and good luck with your deadlines

Katie - the class photos are delightful! I love the really big smiles on everyone's faces... I can see how good the energy was! I can relate in my own way to your transition from a people-filled environment to the solitude of home. Although I do well in such situations, I always feel so out of my comfort zone, and when I return to my familiar nest, it takes a while to ease back into equilibrium. As far as the highs and lows you describe... I truly believe they are in the nature of life, and I have found as I've gotten older, I am more accepting of those fluctuations, even though they are often so difficult to get through. Good luck with your deadlines, and take good care of yourself.

oh, these photos are wonderful,,,not too dark at all. (I guess it depends on your computer). I'm so jealous, not being able to take one of your classes.

Take care and hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry you're struggling right now, and I hope that it will pass soon. I can relate to these feelings you're having so much. I enjoy your blog a whole lot and will look forward to your return!
