« photos: during and after the flood | Main | Upcoming January Classes »

So sorry Katie. I understand how this feels just a little. Several years ago, I left my home for the weekend. We had accidently left the hose on near the foundation of our home. The water leaked in to my basement which was finished and where I kept my art studio. When I returned I was faced wtih 6 inches of water over about 1,300 sq feet. It is hard to comprehend unless you ahve been through something like this. Warm prayers and hugs your way.

I am so sorry to read and see what you have had to endure! I can't imagine how scary it is, but I'm glad you and yours are safe.

Oh Katie, I am so sorry to hear about your flood, but glad that you and your family are safe.

It takes time to recover from things like this. Not knowing you very well, but having read many of your blog entries and seeing your beautiful creative spirit, I feel confident that you will be able to find some positive energy in this.

i am thinking about you girl and sending you peace and light in the midst of everything.

oh no! It's awful, and what a bad time of year. We had 4 inches in our lower level too, what a mess. Hope you dry out soon, we have lots of fans and an oscillating heater and a dehumidifier, it is working so far. Lots of hugs, Pam
