I had to run like heck to catch the train but I made it, and have joined the disintegration project , inspired by Seth of The Altered Page. I hung my little bundle out on an old garden fence that will be torn down and replaced this spring, in the meantime they are disintegrating together, bits of the rusted chicken wire curled and tied around and into the paper bundle. i also layered some dryer lint in there...
Remembering my Irish ancestors today - that would my paternal grandparents, and my dad's Catholic side of the family. I love the dark curly hair and hazel eyes, the opposite of my maternal grandparents side who were full-fledged Norwegion - fair skinned, blue eyes, light hair, and of course Lutheran. I have always felt the deepest kinship with my Irish side - so I lift my glass to them and you - cheers !!
Happy St. Pat's to you! I like your bundle. I put mine up on March 1st, and it disintegrated already! Had to make another and it's doing fine. Yours looks better built than mine.

I love your disintegration packet, Katie. I joined in the collaboration, a tad later than some, but I'm excited to see what becomes of my papers, metal, and an old paintbrush. Oh, and by the way, I've signed up for two (TWO) of your classes at Art and Soul. First choices, by the way.

This is such a great project, I love what everyone is doing.
Katie, are you selling any of your paintings on vendor night?
