And I would have signed up for the box class. I have a thing for boxes. My grandmother used to make them for me as gifts, out of matchstick boxes covered in shelf liner, and shoe boxes covered with macaroni painted gold and lined with velvety fabric scraps. The gifts from her were my favorite because she made them.

Unbelievable Katie...I would never guess these were made from cardboard by the pictures... they're gorgeous!!!!

katie, these pieces are exceptionally original, delightful, and astonishing, even for you. (smile) My favorite is the one with the secret behind the door; evocative of Persian miniatures and magical cupboards at the same time. You are firing on all pistons. xo

Great art. Never thought about decorating a box. I echo Sharon's comment about taking a class from you!

Glenny

oh Katie --- the boxes are innovatative and delightful -- just like you. It is time to share a glass of wine and great poetry.

Tess

KAtie, I love all of these butespecially that first box. I would love to learn how to build a box from scratch using the items you mentioned. A true recycled project. Awesome!!
