I've been diligently working away on the writing portion of my book; it's hard to believe that by this time next month it will be essentially done except for the final edit. I found the writing itself to be really enjoyable, it's just the making myself sit down to do it and keeping my seat in the chair that is the biggest challenge, as in all writing.
So yesterday I took a little break upon the wise advise of a friend and gave myself permision to take a painting break. I wanted to share the beginning stage of a painting and the finished painting.
Here is the my initial start of the painting. The background started off being magazine papers, and I used the Nevr-Dull technique as I demonstrated in the video tutorial here a couple weeks back. I went in and started painting my figures.
And here is the finished painting; I'm happy with it.
I'll check in again in the next few days. Have a beautiful weekend all!
WOW!!!! This is just fabulous! My six year old and I did your never-dull magazine technique after we watched the video! It is so much fun! Thank you so much!
